About Us
Founded on 10 January 2002, Rahmantunnessa Shikkha Unnayan Foundation (RSUF) is a Bangladeshi organization engaged in socio-economic development activities among the poorest of the poor. It is a non-government, non-political and non-profitable organization working with the poor of all levels irrespective of caste or creed.
RSUF is a people-based learning organization — participation of grass-root communities in every development effort is one of our key principles.
History
Registration
Rahmantunnessa Shikkha Unnayan Foundation (RSUF) is registered with the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh under the following departments:
- Department of Social Welfare — under the Joint Stock Companies and Firms, Bangladesh Registration and Control Ordinance No. (XXI) of 1860. Registration No: S-5460(574)/06, dated 23 February 2006.
- NGO Affairs Bureau — Registration No: 3142/18.
- National Skill Development Authority (NSDA) — Registration No: STP-RAJ-000375, dated 2022.
Vision & Mission
Mission: Reducing poverty, establishing equal opportunities, promoting peace and justice, and ensuring quality education, agriculture support, hygiene, sanitation, skills development and income generation for marginalized communities — grounded in human dignity, ethical values, participation, teamwork, mutual respect and inter-religious harmony.
